Please consider adding your name to this online list of people who do not want to see the response to September 11, 2001's terrorist attacks increase the level of conflict in the world.

Please go to http://www.flora.org/coat/appeal

add your name and pass it on! In its first 4 days over 1600 people have signed on, from Australia, USA, Canada & elsewhere. This is one quick way to have an impact for peace.... (Already around 6,000)

Some petitions will not be effective because it doesn't require the full address of the people who sign it. There are a number of things that most people don't know, but are important to do when trying to influence their political leaders. This web site explains the details of how to effectively influence the political process.

(Petition above is good)

Dear brother, dear sister,

Starting this Monday, September 17, you are invited to join collectively in a massive attunement to the Consciousness of our Unity and, from this vantage point, We, as a collective Being aware of its indissociable Oneness with All That Is, will ask for help to the great beings who are awaiting for our Awakening and request for assistance to come with us and assist us, as One Humanity, to establish the new Golden Age on this blue Pearl of Life we call Earth. --- The moment has come to step out of our individual shell, to let go of our egoic sense of Separation, and rejoin as One, just as it was in the Beginning, to rejoice in our renewed Unity, awakening from our aeons-long slumber, and BE All That We Are.

Because of the Universal Laws governing the evolution of all souls in incarnation, the magnificent fleets and translucent beings of Light whose wisdom and Lighted Goodness surpass anything ever seen on this globe cannot come to our rescue and directly assist in this hour of our greatest need.

The tragic events that have suddenly manifested on September 11, 2001 and grabbed the attention of practically all humanity are the portentous signal that the time has come for all individual souls to choose which way their next evolutionary steps will take them. Either the vengeful streams of hate will precipitate you in the abyss of yet another round of restless terror and global destruction, or you will rise to the occasion and affirm your God-given sovereignty to choose the Path of Love and Compassion. Either you will associate yourself with the strident calls emanating from the most atavistic and dark aspects of your Being, or you will choose to respond to the silent appeal from Within to ascend towards the Light of our Infinite Oneness.

The choice is yours... as it has always been. In this very moment, you are making this choice. In this very moment you are reaching the pinnacle of what has been a long and sometimes arduous ascent from the bottom of the evolutionary ladder towards the Point of Awakening you are now collectively reaching. The Time Is Now. In the beginning there was Light.

>From this Light all that exists today gradually manifested and Life could eventually endow countless physical forms of Its magical, mystical Presence. Light and Life could then combine their Power to give birth to Love, the same Love that we can all manifest today, and together, from One Common Will, use to attain Oneness of Awareness.

So when we will join together, all around the world at the same moment, starting on Monday, September 17 at 16:00 hr UT/GMT, we will simply use these 3 Key words, to focalize our attention towards establishing global Oneness, repeating with mindful awareness of their truly profound meaning..

. Light ... Life ... Love ... ...

until the cascading effect of our joining of minds reaches the climax of a totally synchronized Oneness and THEN, emerging from our planetary cocoon, facing the Universe in all directions, as One Collective Christed Being, we will establish Contact and demand assistance from the legions of angels, the cohort of ascended masters from countless multifarious places and dimensions, and also from the assembled brothers and sisters who came from so many other centers of civilization, all of whom are here, now, to offer their comfort, active support and loving assistance towards facilitating our global Awakening. At this point of collective contact with the Universal Servers of the Will of God, the Sleeping Giant will Awaken....... and the Plan of God will become manifest for our One Mind to behold and contemplate in its absolute perfection. ---

Once your choice is made to participate to this global Unification, starting at 16:00 hr UT/GMT (see the Time Chart below to find out your local time), this coming Monday, September 17, 2001, and at the same time every following day for as long as it will be necessary, you will please assist in communicating this vital information to all those who could be receptive to this invitation. Please do not make the decision for anyone else as to whether they can be able or not to understand and allow as many people as possible the same opportunity you have to choose. Go within if you are unsure and just let yourself be guided towards understanding what needs to be done and how it can be accomplished.

The Deeper Wound by Deepak Chopra

As fate would have it, I was leaving New York on a jet flight that took off 45 minutes before the unthinkable happened. By the time we landed in Detroit, chaos had broken out. When I grasped the fact that American security had broken down so tragically, I couldn't respond at first. My wife and son were also in the air on separate flights, one to Los Angeles, one to San Diego. My body went absolutely rigid with fear. All I could think about was their safety, and it took several hours before I found out that their flights had been diverted and both were safe. Strangely, when the good news came, my body still felt that it had been hit by a truck. Of its own accord it seemed to feel a far greater trauma that reached out to the thousands who would not survive and the tens of thousands who would survive only to live through months and years of hell. And I asked myself, Why didn't I feel this way last week? Why didn't my body go stiff during the bombing of Iraq or Bosnia?

Around the world my horror and worry are experienced every day. Mothers weep over horrendous loss, civilians are bombed mercilessly, refugees are ripped from any sense of home or homeland. Why did I not feel their anguish enough to call a halt to it? As we hear the calls for tightened American security and a fierce military response to terrorism, it is obvious that none of us has any answers. However, we feel compelled to ask some questions. Everything has a cause, so we have to ask, What was the root cause of this evil? We must find out not superficially but at the deepest level. There is no doubt that such evil is alive all around the world and is even celebrated. Does this evil grow from the suffering and anguish felt by people we don't know and therefore ignore? Have they lived in this condition for a long time?

One assumes that whoever did this attack feels implacable hatred for America. Why were we selected to be the focus of suffering around the world? All this hatred and anguish seems to have religion at its basis. Isn't something terribly wrong when jihads and wars develop in the name of God?

Isn't God invoked with hatred in Ireland, Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, Israel, Palestine, and even among the intolerant sects of America? Can any military response make the slightest difference in the underlying cause? Is there not a deep wound at the heart of humanity? If there is a deep wound, doesn't it affect everyone? When generations of suffering respond with bombs, suicidal attacks, and biological warfare, who first developed these weapons? Who sells them? Who gave birth to the satanic technologies now being turned against us? If all of us are wounded, will revenge work? Will punishment in any form toward anyone solve the wound or aggravate it? Will an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, and limb for a limb, leave us all blind, toothless and crippled? Tribal warfare has been going on for two thousand years and has now been magnified globally. Can tribal warfare be brought to an end? Is patriotism and nationalism even relevant anymore, or is this another form of tribalism? What are you and I as persons going to do about what is happening? Can we afford to let the deeper wound fester any longer?

Everyone is calling this an attack on America, but is it not a rift in our collective soul? Isn't this an attack on civilization from without that is also from within? When we have secured our safety once more and cared for the wounded, after the period of shock and mourning is over, it will be time for soul searching. I only hope that these questions are confronted with the deepest spiritual intent. None of us will feel safe again behind the shield of military might and stockpiled arsenals. There can be no safety until the root cause is faced. In this moment of shock I don't think anyone of us has the answers. It is imperative that we pray and offer solace and help to each other. But if you and I are having a single thought of violence or hatred against anyone in the world at this moment, we are contributing to the wounding of the world.

Love,

Deepak

Statement - September 11, 2001 - 12 noon pst by Neale Donald Walsch

Dear friends around the world

The events of this day cause every thinking person to stop their daily lives, whatever is going on in them, and to ponder deeply the larger questions of life. We search again for not only the meaning of life, but the purpose of our individual and collective experience as we have created it-and we look earnestly for ways in which we might recreate ourselves anew as a human species, so that we will never treat each other this way again. The hour has come for us to demonstrate at the highest level our most extraordinary thought about Who We Really Are.

There are two possible responses to what has occurred today. The first comes from love, the second from fear. If we come from fear we may panic and do things-as individuals and as nations-that could only cause further damage. If we come from love we will find refuge and strength, even as we provide it to others.

A central teaching of Conversations with God is: What you wish to experience, provide for another. Look to see, now, what it is you wish to experience-in your own life, and in the world. Then see if there is another for whom you may be the source of that. If you wish to experience peace, provide peace for another. If you wish to know that you are safe, cause another to know that they are safe. If you wish to better understand seemingly incomprehensible things, help another to better understand. If you wish to heal your own sadness or anger, seek to heal the sadness or anger of another. Those others are waiting for you now. They are looking to you for guidance, for help, for courage, for strength, for understanding, and for assurance at this hour. Most of all, they are looking to you for love.

This is the moment of your ministry. This is the time of teaching. What you teach at this time, through your every word and action right now, will remain as indelible lessons in the hearts and minds of those whose lives you touch, both now, and for years to come. We will set the course for tomorrow, today. At this hour. In this moment. There is much we can do, but there is one thing we cannot do. We cannot continue to co-create our lives together on this planet as we have in the past.

We cannot, except at our peril, ignore the events of this day, or their implications. It is tempting at times like this to give in to rage. Anger is fear announced, and rage is anger that is repressed, and then, when it is released, that is often misdirected. Right now, anger is not inappropriate. It is, in fact, natural-and can be a blessing. If we use our anger about this day not to pinpoint where the blame falls, but where the cause lies, we can lead the way to healing.

Let us seek not to pinpoint blame, but to pinpoint cause. Unless we take this time to look at the cause of our experience, we will never remove ourselves from the experiences it creates. Instead, we will forever live in fear of retribution from those within the human family who feel aggrieved, and, likewise, seek retribution from them.

So at this time it is important for us to direct our anger toward the cause of our present experience. And that is not necessarily individuals or groups who have attacked others, but, rather, the reasons they have done so. Unless we look at these reasons, we will never be able to eliminate these attacks. To me the reasons are clear. We have not learned the most basic human lessons. We have not remembered the most basic human truths. We have not understood the most basic spiritual wisdom. In short, we have not been listening to God, and because we have not, we watch ourselves do ungodly things.

The message of Conversations with God is clear: we are all one.

That is a message the human race has largely ignored. Our separation mentality has underscored all of our human creations. Our religions, our political structures, our economic systems, our educational institutions, and our whole approach to life have been based on the idea that we are separate from each other. This has caused us to inflict all manner of injury, one upon the other. And this injury causes other injury, for like begets like and negativity only breeds negativity. It is as easy to understand as that. And so now let us pray that all of us in this human family will find the courage and the strength to turn inward and to ask a simple, soaring question: what would love do now? If we could love even those who have attacked us, and seek to understand why they have done so, what then would be our response?

Yet if we meet negativity with negativity, rage with rage, attack with attack, what then will be the outcome? These are the questions that are placed before the human race today. They are questions that we have failed to answer for thousands of years. Failure to answer them now could eliminate the need to answer them at all. We should make no mistake about this. The human race has the power to annihilate itself. We can end life as we know it on this planet in one afternoon.

This is the first time in human history that we have been able to say this. And so now we must direct our attention to the questions that such power places before us. And we must answer these questions from a spiritual perspective, not a political perspective, and not an economic perspective. We must have our own conversation with God, for only the grandest wisdom and the grandest truth can address the greatest problems, and we are now facing the greatest problems and the greatest challenges in the history of our species. It is not as if we have not seen this coming.

Every spiritual, political, and philosophical writer of the past 50 years has predicted it. So long as we continue to treat each other as we have done on this planet, the circumstance that we face on this day will continue to present itself.

The difference is that now our technology makes our anger much more dangerous. In the early days of our civilization, we were able to inflict hurt upon each other using sticks and rocks and primitive weapons. Then, as our technology grew, it became possible for clans to war against clans and, ultimately, for nations to war against nations. But even then, until most recent times, it was not possible for us to annihilate each other completely. We could destroy a village, or a town, or a major city, or even an entire nation, but only now is it possible for us to destroy our whole world so fast that nothing can stop it once the process has begun. That is what makes this point in our history different from any other. And that is what makes this call for each of us to have our own conversation with God so appropriate and so important.

If we want the beauty of the world that we have co-created to be experienced by our children and our children's children, we will have to become spiritual activists right here, right now, and cause that to happen. We must choose to be at cause in the matter.

So, talk with God today. Ask God for help, for counsel and advice, for insight and for strength and for inner peace and for deep wisdom. Ask God on this day to show us how to show up in the world in a way that will cause the world itself to change. That is the challenge that is placed before every thinking person today.

Today the human soul asks the question: What can I do to preserve the beauty and the wonder of our world and to eliminate the anger and hatred-and the disparity that inevitably causes it - in that part of the world which I touch?

Please seek to answer that question today, with all the magnificence that is You. I love you, and I send you my deepest thoughts of peace.

Neale Donald Walsch

A World Out of Touch With Itself

Where the Violence Comes From

Rabbi Michael Lerner

(Editor TIKKUN Magazine | 09.12.2001)

There is never any justification for acts of terror against innocent civilians-it is the quintessential act of dehumanization and not recognizing the sanctity of others, and a visible symbol of a world increasingly irrational and out of control.

It's understandable why many of us, after grieving and consoling the mourners, will feel anger-and while some demagogues in Congress have already sought to manipulate that feeling into a growing militarism (more spies, legalize assassinations of foreign leaders, increase the defense budget at the expense of domestic programs), the more "responsible" leaders are seeking to narrow America's response to targeted attacks on countries that allegedly harbor the terrorists.

But though the perpetrators deserve to be punished, in some ways this narrow focus allows us to avoid dealing with the underlying issues. When violence becomes so prevalent throughout the planet, it's too easy to simply talk of "deranged minds." We need to ask ourselves, "What is it in the way that we are living, organizing our societies, and treating each other that makes violence seem plausible to so many people?"

We in the spiritual world will see this as a growing global incapacity to recognize the spirit of God in each other-what we call the sanctity of each human being. But even if you reject religious language, you can see that the willingness of people to hurt each other to advance their own interests has become a global problem, and it's only the dramatic level of this particular attack which distinguishes it from the violence and insensitivity to each other that is part of our daily lives.

We may tell ourselves that the current violence has "nothing to do" with the way that we've learned to close our ears when told that one out of every three people on this planet does not have enough food, and that one billion are literally starving. We may reassure ourselves that the hoarding of the world's resources by the richest society in world history, and our frantic attempts to accelerate globalization with its attendant inequalities of wealth, has nothing to do with the resentment that others feel toward us. We may tell ourselves that the suffering of refugees and the oppressed have nothing to do with us-that that's a different story that is going on somewhere else. But we live in one world, increasingly interconnected with everyone, and the forces that lead people to feel outrage, anger, and desperation eventually impact on our own daily lives.

The same inability to feel the pain of others is the pathology that shapes the minds of these terrorists. Raise children in circumstances where no one is there to take care of them, or where they must live by begging or selling their bodies in prostitution, put them in refugee camps and tell them that that they have "no right of return" to their homes, treat them as though they are less valuable and deserving of respect because they are part of some despised national or ethnic group, surround them with a media that extols the rich and makes everyone who is not economically successful and physically trim and conventionally "beautiful" feel bad about themselves, offer them jobs whose sole goal is to enrich the "bottom line" of someone else, and teach them that "looking out for number one" is the only thing anyone "really" cares about and that anyone who believes in love and social justice are merely naive idealists who are destined to always remain powerless, and you will produce a world-wide population of people feeling depressed, angry, unable to care about others, and in various ways dysfunctional.

Luckily most people don't act out in violent ways-they tend to act out more against themselves, drowning themselves in alcohol or drugs or personal despair. Others turn toward fundamentalist religions or ultra-nationalist extremism. Still others find themselves acting out against people that they love, acting angry or hurtful toward children or relationship partners. Most Americans will feel puzzled by any reference to this "larger picture." It seems baffling to imagine that somehow we are part of a world system which is slowly destroying the life support system of the planet, and quickly transferring the wealth of the world into our own pockets.

We don't feel personally responsible when an American corporation runs a sweat shop in the Phillipines or crushes efforts of workers to organize in Singapore. We don't see ourselves implicated when the U.S. refuses to consider the plight of Palestinian refugees or uses the excuse of fighting drugs to support repression in Colombia or other parts of Central America. We don't even see the symbolism when terrorists attack America's military center and our trade center-we talk of them as buildings, though others see them as centers of the forces that are causing the world so much pain.

We have narrowed our own attention to "getting through" or "doing well" in our own personal lives, and who has time to focus on all the rest of this? Most of us are leading perfectly reasonable lives within the options that we have available to us-so why should others be angry at us, much less strike out against us? And the truth is, our anger is also understandable: the striking out by others in acts of terror against us is just as irrational as the world-system that it seeks to confront. Yet our acts of counter-terror will also be counter-productive. We should have learned from the current phase of the Israel-Palestinian struggle, responding to terror with more violence, rather than asking ourselves what we could do to change the conditions that generated it in the first place, will only ensure more violence against us in the future.

This is a world out of touch with itself, filled with people who have forgotten how to recognize and respond to the sacred in each other because we are so used to looking at others from the standpoint of what they can do for us, how we can use them toward our own ends. The alternatives are stark: either start caring about the fate of everyone on this planet or be prepared for a slippery slope toward violence that will eventually dominate our daily lives.

We should pray for the victims and the families of those who have been hurt or murdered in these crazy acts. We should also pray that America does not return to "business as usual," but rather turns to a period of reflection, coming back into touch with our common humanity, asking ourselves how our institutions can best embody our highest values. We may need a global day of atonement and repentance dedicated to finding a way to turn the direction of our society at every level, a return to the notion that every human life is sacred, that "the bottom line" should be the creation of a world of love and caring, and that the best way to prevent these kinds of acts is not to turn ourselves into a police state, but turn ourselves into a society in which social justice, love, and compassion are so prevalent that violence becomes only a distant memory.

Hypocrisy

Has there not been a lot of hypocritical patriotic rhetoric coming out of Washington and elsewhere? Have we not bombed civilians, thousands upon thousands, and called it "collateral damage"? What was Hiroshima and Nagasaki? A direct attack upon civilians? What about the free fire zones in Nam? I was there. Innocent men, women and children were killed indiscriminately that were found in these zones. They were considered Viet Cong. And the Gulf War? What about the innocent civilians in Baghdad that were bombed? What about their buildings that crashed to the ground, struck by our massive bombings? What about the assassinations committed by the CIA? (Now our "patriots" are calling for renewal of the authority for the CIA to go around assassinating suspected enemies again.)

http://www.greaterthings.com/News/911/

Equidistant Bible Code specifies "Osama bin Laden" once, with "Terrorist of God" appearing three times in the matrix. God uses the wicked to punish his people when they are out of line.

Think Rationally - who did it?

Forget about all what the media is saying and let's think rationally together. Let's first agree that the attack on NY and DC was very well planned and organized by SMART people who knew how and where to hit in order to hurt!

Then, let's follow the FBI investigation. Do you think that those smart people who planned the attack are STUPID enough to use their real names in booking the flight tickets and renting cars,..Etc. (all 18 names are of Muslims with Arabic origin)?

Obviously, the answer is NO. Do you think that the attackers were so stupid to leave behind them cars and suit cases full of Arabic manuals and videotapes teaching how to fly commercial flights?

Of course, NOT. That leads us to the next question: Who is suffering the most after the victims' families and friends? Obviously, the answer is the Arab-Americans who are being harassed everywhere in the U.S. as well as Muslims and Arabs through out the world.

Final question: Who did profit the most from this crisis situation? The answer is: ISRAEL

First, the attack managed to unify all Americans and the whole world against Muslims/Arabs and Islam in general.

Second, the attack managed to silences all voices asking Israel to stop their terrorism against the Palestinians.

Third, the whole world got shocked with the attack leaving Israel free to torture Palestinians without anyone hearing or seeing or objecting!! If you add it all up, you'll see the hands of "al Mussed" the Israeli Intelligence Services behind the attack.

They have the resources required to carry out such an attack and to cover it up with all those false leads. The question now is, would the FBI continue the investigation all the way to the end until they find the real hands and minds behind the attack or are they going to stop upon identifying all those names of Arabs and link them to Bin-Laden and then rush to destroy Afghanistan? Unfortunately, the Americans have no willingness or appetite to discover anybody behind the attack other than Bin-Laden and the Islam ( we didn't forget the investigation of Egyptair 990)!

Now, how can we let the whole world think rationally that way and not jump to false conclusions? Please help; forward this message together with your thoughts to all people through out the world.
