The wool sponge, by far the softest, most reliable, and absorbent sponge available. Excellent bath body sponge
The best overall bath sponge is the SEA WOOL sponge. It is fluffy, amazingly silky soft, super absorbent and unbelievably durable. It is also the most expensive. A typical sea wool sponge can last 10 years or more and remain looking practically the same with normal care. It also inhibits the growth of bacteria unlike other washcloths and artificial sponges. Once a person actually uses one in the bath, they typically will become a lifelong lover of a natural sponge. As they feel silky soft, they are extremely great for cleaning as the texture of the sponge scrubs one's skin.

Sponge Cleansing
Once in a while you can use one of the following methods to thoroughly cleanse your sponge:
1. A solution of 1 or 2 drops of tea tree oil and 1 cup warm water
2. A solution of 1 tbsp. cider vinegar in 1 cup of water
3. A solution of 1 tbsp. baking soda in 1 cup of warm water.
4. A solution of 1 tsp. Colloidal Silver to 1 cup warm water.
5. A solution of 1/2 hydrogen peroxide and 1/2 water
Please note:
All commercial sponges go through a rigorous cleaning process and whilst care is taken by suppliers to remove any hard bits of shell, it is recommended to soak the sponge in water and squeeze it with your hands and discard any solid bits before using it for the first time.
