Characteristics:
The human ear (Auris) is a pair sense organ of hearing and balance created with the outer, middle and inner ear. The outer acoustic ducts are continuously filled with cerumen. In case of excessive cerumen formation, which may be a cause of many ailments such as buzzing (tinnitus), whistling, noise, imbalance of the ear pressure and feeling of clogged ears, this cerumen stiffens and the auditory perception decreases. In consequence of wrong cleaning by a wrong method the cerumen is pushed deeper and deeper in the ear. But it can be easily removed with the aid of the AURECON plus ear candle. These candles are cotton tubes impregnated with the mixture of beeswax and paraffin. The heat created by the candle burning softens the accumulated cerumen and the formed underpressure draws it out by the chimney effect. At the same time the pressure in the whole area of the head and neck is balanced through Eustachian tube. The heat effect influences blocked energy flows in meridians positively. Meridians are energy ducts whose function is transport and distribution of life energy in a human organism. After lighting the candle a sort of fog occurs inside the candle ; this fog flows down into the ear. This fog transports active substances into the whole ear system.

Heat from the candle also heats the microsystem of the earlobe, and this way it affects the reflexive zones which have a positive effect to the course of a disease from getting cold by this stimulation. It adjusts cleaning effect of lymphatic ear drainage.

AURECON plus ear candles may have a positive effect e.g. in earaches, long-term earaches and headaches, slight forms of middle ear inflammation, ear itching, ear buzzing, feeling of pressure in ears and head, migraine, acute and chronic cold, smell disorders, tonsillitis, irritability and stress symptoms as a result of vegetative disorders, insufficient ear penetration, energy invigoration in hearing loss, local and reflexive activation of substance and lymphatic circulation, stimulation of energy flow, general invigoration of the immunity system of the organism.

AURECON plus ear candles should not be used in case that the candle has already been used (even a little) and lightened. The candles will be functional only in case that they are used in the original well-kept state. For the reason of higher safety, plastic protective insert Aurecon system is built-in the ear candles; this insert increases safety and efficiency of the ear candles. The protective Aurecon system insert excludes conceivable intrusion of extraneous substances into the ear system. The knowledge of this practice came to Europe from Asia and North America. The Indians called “Hopi”, the nation with large experience with natural medicine, use these ear candles from time out of mind. Susanna Von-Tobar, the specialist in natural medicine, described a funnel made of wax material, which is lightened and used in ear problems, in her manuscript dated in Frankfurt, in 1656.

The CE designation, which is used for designation of the Aurecon plus® ear candles, certifies the compliance with safety requirements stipulated by the Directive CEE 93/42 adopted in the EU.

Composition:
Cotton, beeswax, paraffin, plastic protective Aurecon system insert.

Instructions for use:
Put the enclosed paper ring on the candle and lighten it on the wider end. Put your head in the horizontal position and push the candle into the ear with its narrower end. Make sure the candle is in the correct position. As soon as the candle burns out in 2/3, which must always be above the paper ring, take it out and extinguish it in a prepared glass of water. Burning lasts about 6 – 7 minutes. The optimum length of Aurecon plus ear candle was set to 20 cm ±10 % and with the diameter in the upper end about 20 mm during the research. The right balance of burning is reached with these dimensions.

Cleaning is performed in both ears, one after another,; during the application the pressure in the whole area of the head and neck is balanced through Eustachian tube.

We recommend performing the cleaning preventatively once a month. The preventive treatment should be done in 3 subsequent days. The preparation is intended for those who want to clean inner ear or who want to remove impedimental water from the ear after swimming in the sea or a swimming-pool. The preparation may be beneficial to people working in dusty environment, to people suffering of pressure in the ears after travelling by airplane or after stay in the mountains. AURECON plus ear candles do not have the same shape, because they are hand-made.

Adverse effects:
Are not known. The preparation is not recommended for using in case of eardrum perforation and in case of allergy to the contained substances. In case of any ear pathology or persisting cerumen it is necessary to consult a physician before application.

Precautions:
Use the candle always with help of another person!
Take heed to safety during burning!
Do not use in ear diseases!
Do not use in places exposed to draught, gas or inflammatory substances presence, and do not expose it to heat sources!
Not suitable for children younger than 6 years of age!
Perform cleaning ears in children always under the inherence of an adult person!
While using the candle, protect your hair with a towel!!
Do not push the candle deep in the ear!
